Getting there

By Car

 

From Dublin/Limerick

Follow signs on the M7 for Birdhill & Killaloe/Ballina.  At the Birdhill roundabout follow signs for Ballina/Killaloe.  When in Ballina cross bridge and turn right. Travel along the R463 for 9½ miles. Boru Oak Lodge is on the right hand side, 1 and a half miles before Tuamgraney village.

From Ennis

Follow signs for Tulla, Scariff and Portumna. Continue on the R352 for 21 miles which brings you to the village of Tuamgraney. Take a right turn, following signs for Killaloe/Ballina (R463). Boru Oak Lodge is on the left hand side, 1 and a half miles outside the village.

From Galway

Travel from Galway to Gort.  From Gort take the M18 towards Limerick.  Take the third exit off the motorway signposted Ennis, Tulla, Scariff & Portumna.  Once off the motorway take the first left at the roundabout (R352) towards Tulla, Scariff, Portumna.  Continue on the R352 for 21 miles which brings you to the village of Tuamgraney.  Take a right turn, following signs for Killaloe/Ballina (R463).  Boru Oak Lodge is on the left hand side, 1 and a half miles outside the village.

By Air

The closest airport is Shannon International Airport which is a 40 minute drive away. Airport pick-up and drop-off can be arranged in advance and are included in the cost of our weekend workshops. A number of airlines offer flights to Shannon, including the two main Irish airlines, Aer Lingus and RyanAir.

Guests traveling from overseas to arrange own flight. Complimentary pick up at Shannon Airport is offered up to 6 pm on day of arrival.

By Train

Pick up at Birdhill train station (on the Dublin-Limerick train line) can be arranged (20 mins drive).
