The east clare yoga centre
is a family-run rural retreat set on the outskirts of the small
village of Tuamgraney in East County Clare. Situated in the West
of Ireland, this Shannonside region hugs the edge of Ireland’s
largest lake, Lough Derg, and is a short distance from the picturesque
heritage town of Killaloe/Ballina.
The Centre is located within the grounds of Boru Oak Lodge,
the spacious home of the Sturton Family. The premises are set
in two acres of mature gardens and nestled at the edge of Raheen
Wood. These woods are home to some of the oldest oak trees in
Europe and its many delightful walks are directly accessible
from the grounds. Included in these is the popular walk to the
majestic Brian Boru Oak Tree. Standing proud for over 1,000 years,
this ancient tree was named after local hero, Brian Boru, High
King of Ireland (940-1014). |
